Laura Martinelli founded EHFAR in March of 2013. She was named New England Ernst & Young Youth Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013 for her innovative approach to filmmaking.
Laura graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BA in Communication. She has traveled internationally for film and video projects and studied at Florence University of the Arts to explore photojournalism. She studied at the University of Essex (Colchester, England) to pursue film theory and documentary production.
In addition to her work behind the camera, Laura studies acting and brings her personal musicianship to her films as well. She enjoys playing mandolin, piano, percussion, and ping pong (specifically for the sound of it.)
Laura’s passion for filmmaking is unwavering and she’s ecstatic that she gets to live out her childhood dream. (See yearbook clipping.)
